| Pease 4-Cup Apple Parer & Corer |
 |
The Pease 4-Cup Apple Parer pares and cores apples in contiguous operations. The machine provides a tremendous advantage in production speed, efficiency, and ease of use over hand operated devices. The outstanding feature of this machine is its' rugged and simple design. It is so easy to use, adjust, clean, and maintain that is provides many years of excellent service. Production rates can be 18 to 80 bushels an hour depending on the size and the condition of the apples. This machine is not a stand alone, other equipment will be needed to slice, dice, or shred, depending on your end products. |
| One operator feeds the four cups, which are 9" apart, at a rate of approx. 80 to 90 apples per minute. The machine cycles 2 cups at time so the operator can place two apples at once allowing for rapid cycle times. The cup pushes the apple up onto a spindle which turns rapidly while the knife head pares the skin off so perfectly that hand trimming will not be required except for bad bruises and other defects. Waste from paring is at minimum because of the ease of controlling the thickness of the peel. The apple is cored by a knife which passes up through the center of the apples then drops the finished apple into a chute ready for the next operation. Chutes and most parts that come in contact with the apples are stainless steel. |
| The Deluxe model is made with Stainless steel in critical areas, providing superior corrosion resistance and better long term appearance. The Standard model is made of steel coated with a corrosion resistant paint. A spare parts kit is included with both models.
All of our 4-Cup Parers come with key locked enclosures. We manufacture a standard (painted) as well as a Deluxe base (stainless steel) for the 4-Cup Parer. |
| This equipment is designed for preliminary processing of apples for use in pies, jelly, apple sauce, and for baked, fried, dried, and canned apple products. The Pease 4-Cup Apple Parer is currently used by apple preparation operations and food processing plants, worldwide. |
