Other Processing Equipments

The "COMBO"
comboThe Combo machine is a combination of devices to process apples: which include a parer/corer, rolling work table, seed celler and a segment slicer. The Combo provides production speed, efficiency, and ease of use for hand powered paring operations in one easily cleaned work station area. It is a rugged industrial unit which is designed to give many years of excellent service. Production rates can be three to four bushels of apples per hour, with 2 operators, one operating the parer/corer and the other operating the seed celler and segment slicer. One operator can do all operations at a lower production rate.
 Operation
The parer/corer removes the skin and apple core, the seed celler removes the seed cells, and the segment slicer cuts the apple into wedge-shaped segments. The machine consists of a 30" x 30" table frame upon which the parer/corer and slicer are mounted. There are four casters, two swivel to allow easy relocation of the machine.
 Models
Deluxe and Standard models are available. The Deluxe model uses stainless steel where possible. Stainless steel provides superior corrosion resistance and better long term appearance. The Standard model is made of steel coated with a corrosion resistant paint. A spare parts kit is included with both models.
 Applications
This equipment is designed for preliminary processing of apples for use in pies and other pastries, apple butter, jelly, apple sauce, and for baked, fried, dried, frozen and canned apple products.
